Book a Bespoke Consultation
Start with a conversation. We’ll talk through the occasion, the cut, and the cloth before a single measurement is taken.
How Bespoke Works
Twenty-seven measurements, a hand-cut pattern that’s yours alone, and 100+ hours of handwork. See how a suit is built from the cloth up.
Custom Wedding Suits
A suit for the day you’ll remember for the rest of your life and wear long after it.
EVERY hand-crafted GARMENT has a soul.
Thomas O’Shea is a fifth-generation tailor trained in the Savile Row method under master tailor Rory Duffy in Ireland. He hand-cuts and finishes every bespoke suit himself — for men and women — out of his workshop in Athens, Georgia.
The trade runs five generations deep. In Limerick, Ireland, Tommy’s grandfather and great-grandfather ran their own atelier, and two generations before them worked the floor at the Limerick Clothing Factory. Some were cutters, all were craftsmen.
Tommy came to it his own way. He grew up in Atlanta, played music, thrifted his clothes, and fell hard for the craft while working menswear as a stylist. In 2022 he packed up and moved to Monaghan, Ireland to train for a year under master tailor Rory Duffy, whose work has shown on London’s Savile Row — learning to draft, cut, and build a coat by hand, and how to fit a garment to a real, moving body.
These days he works out of his own workshop — and honestly, he’s still just a guy who loves making clothes, with a lot of heart, a lot of opinions, and a good pair of shears. Every piece he makes is built to last a lifetime, with a hidden inlay so it can grow with you. One of one, and made to be kept.
The Bespoke Suit Process: How a Hand-Made Suit Comes Together
Bespoke means to speak. It starts with a conversation and ends with a suit that’s completely custom.
A bespoke suit is made by drafting a one-of-a-kind pattern for a single person, cutting the cloth by hand, and shaping the suit to their body over several fittings. At O’Shea & Co. in Athens, GA, every suit is hand-built by tailor Thomas O’Shea and takes around 100 hours.
Made-to-measure takes a ready-made pattern and adjusts it to your size. Bespoke begins with a blank sheet — a pattern drafted for you alone, cut by hand, and shaped to your posture over fittings. Bespoke takes more time and costs more, and it fits and lasts like nothing else
What It Costs
Every suit is drafted and cut by hand for one person, takes around 100 hours to make, and uses cloth from some of the best mills in England. It’s a garment built to be worn for a decade or more. Often, it’s kept for good.
Final pricing depends on the cloth and detailing and is confirmed with a clear quote at your consultation before any work begins.

The Custom Suit
A suit made from the cloth up, for you and no one else. It begins with a conversation about your life and what the suit is for, then twenty-seven measurements. A pattern is drafted for you alone, the cloth cut by hand and shaped to you (your shoulders, your stance, i.e. the way you actually stand) over a handful of fittings. Lapels are then padded by hand, the collar set, the buttonholes and edges worked by eye. More than 100 hours of handwork later, you have a garment that fits only you, perfectly.
